AC Milan on Wednesday announced the signing of Spanish attacker Bojan Krkic, the former Barcelona player who spent last season in Italy with Roma. Milan confirmed the transfer on their website of Krkic, who turned 22 on Tuesday, and revealed that the player will “remain with the club for the whole season.” The news comes a day after Krkic wrote on his Twitter account: “Thanks for all the messages...it has been a long and very emotional day. Tomorrow I will be presented by AC Milan!” Krkic cost Roma 12 million euros ($15m) last year, but a clause in his contract means Barcelona must buy him back next summer for 13 million euros. A statement by the Spanish giants read: “Barcelona have been informed of the agreement between Roma and AC Milan to loan Bojan Krkic to the Milan club this season.”
