Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis announced on Friday that the Serie A club have agreed a deal to sign sought-after Colombian forward Duvan Zapata. The deal will see Zapata, who had reportedly been a target for clubs in England as well as Serie A new-boys Sassuolo, leave Estudiantes of Argentina to join up with new Napoli coach Rafael Benitez. \"We have sealed a deal with Zapata. We have signed it with Estudiantes. The player is on his way to Naples by train for a medical,\" De Laurentiis wrote on Twitter. Italian media reports later said that Zapata will cost Napoli around €6m. Zapata, 22, began his career with America Cali before scoring 13 goals in 31 matches with Estudiantes. Napoli have been active in the transfer market this summer after selling last season\'s top scorer Edinson Cavani to Paris Saint-Germain for a reported €64. Real Madrid trio Gonzalo Higuain, Raul Albiol and Jose Callejon have been signed, while Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has arrived on loan to team up with his former boss Benitez. Napoli, who finished second in Serie A last season, begin their campaign against Bologna on Sunday. Source: fifa.com
