Mariana Pajon of Colombia won the Olympic gold medal Friday in women\'s moto-cross cycling. Sarah Walker of New Zealand took the silver and Laura Smulders of the Netherlands grabbed the bronze. Pajon, who carried the Colombian flag in the opening ceremonies, became the second Olympic gold medalist in her country\'s history. Colombia won a weightlifting gold at the Sydney Games 12 years ago.
