Brazil won the Olympic gold medal Saturday in women\'s volleyball. After losing the opening set 25-11, the Brazilians stormed back to win the next three sets over the United States. The Americans had defeated the Brazilians in four sets during group play at these Olympics, but lost to them in the gold medal match for the second straight Games. It was the third silver medal in Olympic history for the U.S. women\'s volleyball program, which is still looking for its first gold one. The bronze went to Japan, which defeated South Korea in three sets in the third-place match.
