Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed to AFP that their team bus was stoned and had a window broken on its way to the Parc des Princes for Sunday's Ligue 1 match against Lyon. "The bus was stoned and the front right window was broken," a staff member said, adding that the incident occurred near to Chaville, a town in the suburbs of the French capital. PSG's confirmation came after Canal + television broadcast images of the team bus after it had apparently been damaged. The incident comes after a week in which the French game has been overshadowed by violent incidents. Saint-Etienne supporters were thrown out of the Allianz Riviera stadium in Nice just before the Ligue 1 meeting between the clubs last Sunday, after clashes left eight people injured and caused damage within the ground. Saint-Etienne supporters have since been banned from supporting their team away from home until the end of the calendar year. Source: AFP
