FC Twente survived a major scare before scraping past part-timers SC Genemuiden in the third round of the KNVB Beker on Wednesday. The 2010 Eredivisie champions had to come from behind before edging home 4-3. A routine win looked on the cards for the hosts when Leroy Fer put them ahead in the third minute, but Patrick Lip levelled eight minutes later and Freek van den Berg put the minnows ahead 12 minutes into the second half. Twente were stunned into action and Nacer Chadli levelled before a quickfire brace from Emir Bajrami had them 4-2 in front. But Genemuiden were not done and Lip netted his second in the 88th minute to revive their hopes of an upset, but it was not to be. Eredivisie champions Ajax also had to come from behind as they won 4-2 at Roda JC. Jan Vertonghen\'s fourth-minute equaliser cancelled out Mitchell Donald\'s opener for Roda and Derk Boerrigter put the Amsterdammers in front just after the hour mark. Mads Junker levelled two minutes later, but Boerrigter restored Ajax\'s lead in the 72nd minute and Vertonghen also netted his second to seal the victory. PSV Eindhoven scored three second-half goals as they swept aside third division Lisse 3-0. Stanislav Manolev broke the deadlock in the 56th minute and further efforts from Zakaria Labyad and Dries Mertens sealed the hosts\' progression. De Graafschap came from a goal down to win 5-1 at amateur outfit De Treffers. Said Echargui put the minnows in front in the 26th minute, but Michael De Leeuw levelled and goals from Rydell Poepon and Jussi Kujala had the Eredivisie side 3-1 up at the break. Yuri Rose and Xhelil Abdulla struck in the second half to complete the rout. Vitesse Arnhem knocked out ADO Den Haag 2-1, Wilfried Bony with the winner in the 68th minute. Marcus Pedersen put Vitesse ahead in the fifth minute, but Tjaronn Chery levelled in the 19th minute. ADO finished the match with 10 men following the sending off of Gabor Horvath seven minutes from time. Glynor Plet scored a hat-trick as Heracles Almelo hammered Berkum 4-0, Everton with the other goal. Sparta Rotterdam also ran out 4-0 winners over Sparta Nijkerk thanks to an Iiass Bel Hassani double, a Jaime Bruinier strike and a Harry Hamstra own goal.
