Deng Linlin of China won the Olympic gold medal Tuesday in the gymnastics balance beam event. Another Chinese gymnast, Sui Lu, took the silver. The bronze went to Romania\'s Catalina Ponor. Americans Alexandra Raisman and all-around champion Gabby Douglas finished fourth and seventh, respectively, in the eight-woman final.
