Egyptian giants Ahly have enquired about the availability of Chad striker Ezechel Ndouassel, who plays for Tunisian outfit Club Africain, Egypt's news agency MENA reported on Wednesday. Ahly's new boss Hossam El-Badry is aiming to sign Ndouassel upon the recommendation of Chad's Egyptian boss Sherif El-Khashab, MENA added. The 24-year-old, who joined Club Africain in January 2011, has two years remaining on his contract with the club, which will expire in January 2015. He scored six goals for Club Africain in 19 appearances this season. Ahly are targeting several frontmen to strengthen their squad ahead of their CAF Champions League group-stage campaign, which begins next month. Widespread reports are linking them with moves for Maqassa's Ivorian striker Oussou Konan and Petrojet's Marwan Mohsen. ahramonline .
