Al Ittihad suffered a surprise defeat at the hands of Al Ittifaq in the Saudi Arabian Premier League on Tuesday. Hamed Al Hamed scored the only goal for the hosts from the spot in the 83rd minute to condemn the AFC Champions League quarter-finalists to their first loss of the young season. Al Ittifaq now top the table having collected three wins from their first three games.
