Egyptian Greco-Roman wrestling Olympic champion Abdel Rahman al-Trabili has been killed during clashes in the north eastern city of Port Said. Trabili was shot dead outside the al-Arab police station in the canal city, during a march organised by supporters of ousted president Mohammed Morsi. The Egyptian sports community paid tribute to the athlete who won a bronze medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games last summer. The wrestler is the latest sports personality to be killed in the recent violence across Egypt, following the death of Ismaily footballer Sameh Messi, and former Tersana midfielder Amer Abdel Maksoud in Cairo.
