Chairman of Al Ahly Sports Club Mahmoud Taher said on Saturday that he offered a project to establish a new stadium at investments of 3 billion pounds to investors participating in the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) in Sharm el Sheikh.
Mahmoud Taher revealed that progress has been achieved in the negotiations with some investors whom he refused to identify.
Taher did not rule out naming the new stadium after the investing company, like the Stadium of Bayern Munich Club of Germany.
The website of the club reported that Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab voiced his admiration of the design of the new stadium.
