Supreme Council for Youth and Sports deputy general secretary and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar has affirmed the significant scientific value of the )Nasser bin Hamad Scientific Research Award) in the field of sports by contributing to sports development in the field of training, management and sports medicine.
Askar, who is also the awards’ executive office president, announced that the evaluation of all the researches presented for the award have been completed, and the winners of the award categories will be declared in the next few days.

The announcement will be made prior to the awards ceremony, to be held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, and BOC President.

Askar noted the great turnout from the researchers for this year’s edition of the award, from Bahrain and other Arab countries, which reflects the remarkable reputation and prestige claimed by the award as one of the most important awards in the region due to the objectives that aim at enhancing the march of sports work in the Kingdom and the Arab world. He expressed his admiration for the high level of research and competition among the participants in various categories of the award.
