Petrojet have asked Ahly for LE3 million and two players to offload striker Marwan Mohsen in the summer transfer window. Cairo giants Ahly are seeking to bolster their frontline despite boasting several strikers, including Egyptian internationals Mohamed "Gedo" Nagy and Emad Meteb. They have also reached an agreement with fellow Egyptian Premier League side Maqassa to sign Ivorian frontman Oussou Konan. State-run news agency MENA said on Tuesday that Petrojet told Ahly they were ready to sell Mohsen in exchange for youngsters Ahmed Adel and Hesham Mohamed, as well as funds of LE3 million. It remains to be seen whether Ahly will accept the conditions set by the Petroleum outfit to offload their prized asset, who is an integral member of Egypt’s Olympic team squad, which will take part in the London Games this summer. Meanwhile, Ahly have received an offer from Saudi second-division side Al-Shoulah to sign winger Ahmed Shokry, who was recently omitted from Egypt’s Olympic squad after falling out with coach Hany Ramzy. The Red Devils said they will only let Shokry go on a loan deal. The 22-year-old spent last season on loan to Beni Suef Telephones, who made a fine impact in their first season in the top flight before the Egyptian Premier League was cancelled in the wake of the Port Said tragedy.   ahramonline .
