The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has agreed to stage a football friendly match between their Olympic team and their counterparts from United Arab Emirates on August 7, 2011 in Doha, Qatar. The match comes in the frame of both teams preparation for the upcoming GCC Olympic teams Championship that will take place from August 12   21 , 2011 in Doha, according to the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) website. In GCC Olympic teams championship, Qatar was grouped alongside KSA and Kuwait, while UAE is in the same group as Bahrain and Sultanate of Oman.
