Qatari driver Nasser bin Saleh Al Attiyah won Sunday the World Rally Championship (WRC2) after the conclusion of the final round in Britain.
More than 70 contestants took place in the competition which ended in a historic win for Qatari sports. Al Attiyah came first with 118 points, just three points more than second-placed Jari Ketomaa. Italy's Lorenzo Bertelli came third with 111 points.
Al-Attiyah managed to seal the title, despite coming sixth in the final round of the competition.
