Zamalek\'s new coach Hassan Shehata has refused to sanction the transfer of right winger Hazem Emam to Ittihad of Alexandria in a one year loan deal. Reports on Wednesday claimed that the coastal side had reached an agreement with Zamalek to sign the player for LE400,000. Howevever, Shehata has vetoed the deal. Relegation-survivors Ittihad lost interest in Emam\'s teammate midfielder Alaa Ali because they are already well stocked in the same position. The former Egypt national coach has yet to sign a contract, though the club stated Wednesday that he is studying copies of the paperwork. The winner of three successive African Cups of Nations is to meet with his technical staff Thursday afternoon to study the squad’s rebuilding. Shehata uses the assistance of general trainer Ismael Yussif, goalkeeping coach Ahmed Soliman and administrative manager Hamada Anwar. The 62-year-old succeeded Hossam Hassan who failed to fulfill the White Castle\'s ambition to win their first title since 2004 after dominating in the title race until the 25th game.
