Syrian boxer Mohammad Ghossoun qualified for the London 2012 Olympics after winning the gold medal in the 91 kg class finals of the Asian Confederation Boxing Championships taking place in South Korea. Ghossoun won the gold medal after defeating the Chinese finalists. Earlier, he won three qualifying matches.
