Syria's National Basketball Team on Wednesday lost 52 / 75 to Philippines counterpart within the competitions of the second round of FIBA Asia Championship for Men, currently held in China. The Syrian basketball team's strong performance enabled it to proceed in the first half of the game, but it started to decline in the third quarter due to the hasty attacks and the absence of a game-maker. The Philippines team proved speed in implementing attacks and scoring from outside the arc. With this loss, the Syrian national team bid farewell to the FIBA Asia Championship in which it lost to China and won over the Emirates befor losing to the Philippines today.
