Egypt's ambassador to Algeria Omar Abu-Aish has said there is a complete cooperation with authorities to secure a safe game between Zamalek and USM Alger in the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
In statements to MENA, Abu-Aish said the embassy's staff is working as one team to provide all possible care for the squad of Zamalek. He stressed that the game will be brotherly.
The mission is in constant contact with the Algerian authorities to overcome any obstacles that may face the team.
He stressed that Cairo and Algiers have deeply-rooted relations which should not be at all affected by a soccer game whatever its result.
The game is slated for Wednesday at 11 p.m.
Zamalek is on the top of Group B with five points from a win and two draws, one ahead of USM, Ahli Tripoli and Zimbabwe’s Caps United
