Euro 2016: England comeback to beat Rivals Wales 2-1

Daniel Sturridge scored an injury-time winner as England fought back to beat Wales in Group B on Thursday.

The Three Lions made a fast start to the game with Raheem Sterling missing a tap in with less than 10 minutes on the clock. They were made to pay for the miss as Gareth Bale scored from 35-yard free-kick with the halftime whistle minutes away.

England coach Roy Hodgson made changes at halftime, bringing on James Vardy and Daniel Sturridge for Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling and the result was a dominant display from the three lions.

Vardy found the equalizer after 10 minutes with a real poacher's goal. Sturridge finished the game off in the 46th minute after playing a one-two with Delle Alli. England now top the group with four points, followed by Slovakia and Wales who both have three.
