Liverpool teenager Suso is on the verge of signing a new, improved contract at Anfield. The 18-year-old, who has broken into the first team this season, is set to complete the deal before the weekend. \"He will sign a new contract later which shows our commitment to him and shows he is very happy here and feels he has hope, which is important,\" manager Brendan Rodgers said. The Spain U-19 international made his first-team debut in September\'s UEFA Europa League victory over Young Boys and made his first Premier League start nine days later. With surgery on a fractured foot ruling out forward Fabio Borini for up to three months, Suso is expected to get more first-team opportunities. \"I have been really impressed. He is a good boy and very keen to learn,\" Rodgers added. \"He is a wonderful technician, he\'s very bright and a thinking player - which I like. \"He needs to add goals to his game but obviously when you are a young player coming into the team you are really just trying to settle in. \"But for him he is very creative and he works very hard. He\'s done very well; there is a long way to go but he\'s shown excellent promise.\" FIFA
