Hannover's Senegalese forward Mame Biram Diouf, whose season was ended last week by an ankle ligament injury, will undergo an operation on Thursday in the Swiss city of Basel. The 24-year-old damaged his left ankle during Hannover's 2-0 victory over Wolfsburg last Wednesday. Diouf joined Hannover on a two-year contract in January after failing to impose himself at English giants Manchester United.
