Philadelphia running back Dion Lewis and his brother Lamar face felony charges after allegedly pulling a fire alarm at a hotel in Albany, N.Y., authorities say. Albany police told NFL.com the brothers were arrested at 4:40 a.m. Sunday. They are accused of pounding on the locked glass doors of a Hampton Inn and then setting off a fire alarm. The brothers are charged with falsely reporting an incident, which is classified as a felony, and misdemeanor reckless endangerment of property, NFL.com reported. Dion Lewis was arraigned and released. His older brother remained in custody, NFL.com said. Lewis was a fifth-round draft pick out of Pittsburgh last year. He played in 15 games last season, mostly on special teams. Team officials released a statement Monday saying they were aware of the incident involving Lewis, who is to appear in Albany City Court Wednesday, and had talked to him and his representatives. \"They have a good understanding of the serious nature of this matter and understand the embarrassment it caused to not only himself, but the entire organization,\" the team said in a statement. Lewis issued an apology through the team. \"It was never my intention to cause any public alarm or damage any property,\" he said. \"I am sorry for any embarrassment and inconvenience that my actions have caused. \"I am committed to continuing to conduct myself in conformance with the high moral, ethical and professional standards that I have my entire life and of which so many others rightly expect of me. Because the matter is still in the hands of the court system, I cannot comment any further.\"
