Former Italian Formula One driver Andrea de Cesaris, 55, has died in a motorcycle accident here.
He raced for ten teams, including McLaren, Jordan, Brabham, Dallara and Alfa Romeo, from 1980 to 1994.
Following his F1 career, he raced in the Grand Prix Masters series for retired Formula One drivers.
His most successful results were second-placed finishes at races in Germany and South Africa in 1983, while representing Alfa Romeo.
