President Abdel Fattah El Sisi

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said the Armed Forces contribution to national economy represents 1.5 to 2 percent.

Speaking during inaugurating expansions of the Nasr Company for Intermediate Chemicals on Saturday, Sisi said the State and the Armed Forces are one entity.

He said the Armed Forces are keen also on maintaining national security and are not working away from the civil sector.

The president said "we need all parties' contribution to enhance national production," noting that the Nasr company's expansions will meet the agricultural sector's needs and would secure surplus for exportation.

The projects being implemented nationwide should be monitored by governors, military zone commanders and specialists, Sisi said.

The president underlined the importance of opening Ein Sokhna fertilizers complex in June.

The president stressed the State's support for private investment, highlighting the importance of offering incentives to investors.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi lauded efforts exerted by the Nasr Company for Intermediate Chemicals, its Board Chairman Mokhtar Abdel Latif and the Armed Forces for carrying out the company's expansions.

The inaugurated expansions would facilitate future water projects expansion in line with the Housing Ministry's request, the president said.

He underlined that water that reaches people should be safe.
President Abdel El Fattah El Sisi said the Egyptian economy stands at EGP 3 to 4 trillion; the army's share is EGP 1.5 trillion.

The president added that the public sector represents the half of the Egyptian economy.

The president added that the gross domestic product should range between EGP 30 to 40 trillion and this goal could only be achieved by all parties working together, especially the public and private sectors.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asked about the date of finalizing the Ein Sokhna fertilizers project, Nasr Company for Intermediate Chemicals Board Chairman Mokhtar Abdel said the project would be finalized in June 2018.

The president voiced hope that the project would be finalized on the set date.

The project will produce one million tons of phosphate fertilizers – an amount enough for covering the agricultural sector needs and there would be a surplus for exportation, the president said.

The project would also create about 4000-5000 jobs, he added.

A water desalination station would be established to secure needed water for the complex, the president expounded.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi ordered a panel -comprising the Military Engineering Authority, Ein Shams University faculty of engineering and the Administrative Control Authority - to prepare a report within 15 days on the efficiency of irrigation and sanitation stations in Alexandria, Beheira and Gharbiya governorates.

One billion pounds was allocated for renovating such stations, the president said.

The president urged all officials to work efficiently and observe their conscience while doing their jobs.

At the end of inauguration, Nasr Company for Intermediate Chemicals Board Chairman Mokhtar Abdel presented a copy of the holy Quran as a gift to the president.
