Al Azhar curricula are based on pluralism, acceptance of others and peaceful coexistence, said Al Azhar's undersecretary Abbas Shoman.

Talking about ties between Azhar and Church, Shoman hailed the ties binding the two religious institutions, adding that Family House is a partnership institution between the two sides.

Shoman's remarks came during his meeting Sunday with a tourist delegation from the US and Canada.
