Cairo - Arab Today
Egypt began to restore its leading role at the Arab and regional levels, Jordanian Minister of State for Information Mohammed al-Mumani said on Wednesday.
In exclusive statements to MENA, Mumani praised the recent economic, security and political achievements in Egypt.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi enjoys great respect from the Jordanian leadership, he said.
Speaking about the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa to kick off Thursday in Jordan, Mumani said this event will provide an opportunity to brief the international community on the challenges threatening Egypt during this critical period.
He underlined that more than 1,000 media and economic experts will participate in the forum.
Mumani made the statements on the sidelines of his visit to the Middle East News Agency (MENA), where he met with Editor-in-Chief Alaa Heidar on ways of bolstering cooperation between the news agencies of both states.
