US Secretary of State John Kerry said that the operations of the international alliance against Daesh will be conducted on the long run.
Kerry asserted that the alliance achieved big progress in its war against Daesh.
Kerry's remarks came Tuesday in the meeting of the international alliance against Daesh in Rome.
The number of the countries participating in the alliance against Daesh reached 66 states after the joining of Afghanistan, he said.
Kerry lauded the international efforts exerted against Daesh.
Eradicating Daesh will not happen overnight so we need all the contributions of all the member-states of the alliance, Kerry added.
Kerry also pointed out to the decision of US President Barack Obama on increasing the number of US special forces in Syria.
