Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) will be hosting an action-packed weekend of exciting motorsport action at its world-class facilities in Sakhir. On Friday (August 10), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” will be holding the BIC Ramadan Burnout, to be followed on Saturday (August 11) by the third round of this year’s Ramadan Drifting Challenge. Both competitions are set to take place at car parks four and five at BIC. Action on both evenings will get underway at 9pm and continue until past midnight. Prizes will be distributed to the events’ top performers at the end of each night. Participants from all across Bahrain and some from the GCC are expected to take part in the weekend’s action. Both competitions will be a valuable opportunity for them to showcase their talents within a safe and controlled environment. Those interested in taking part can sign in at the competition venue between from 8pm on both days. The entry fee to participate in either event is BD5. Fans wishing to join in on the action and get into a car as a passenger may do so for BD2. Competitors in both the Burnout or the Drifting will have to go through scrutineering before being allowed to take part in either event. Entrants must have a rear-wheel-drive car and a valid road driver’s licence to be eligible. They and any potential passengers must also be wearing suitable footwear, meaning no sandals or slippers. Shorts are also not allowed as the legs must be fully covered. General entrance will be completely free to the public on both nights. Those looking for VIP access to the venue can enter for BD10. The BIC Ramadan Burnout and the Ramadan Drifting Challenge are two of the most popular events organised by BIC each year during the Holy Month. This year’s competitions follow the success of previous events.
