Stade Francais's Fiji wing Josaia Raisuqe has been hit with a 15-week ban for eye-gouging, European Rugby organisers (EPCR) said on Wednesday.

Raisuqe was sent-off for his offence during last weekend's European Champions Cup match against Munster.

Despite the wing's absence for the entire second half, Stade still won 27-7 but Raisuqe has been punished for his moment of madness in a tackle with Munster No.8 CJ Stander.

He will not be able to play again until May 9, meaning he will not take any further part in this season's competition unless the Parisians reach the final.

Bordeaux-Begles lock Julien Ledevedec was handed a two-week ban for a headbutt in his team's 28-10 European Champions Cup defeat by Clermont.

Ledevedec was handed a straight red card for his act against Paul Jedrasiak during the game, just minutes after he'd come on as a replacement.

The lock will now be able to play again on January 25, so missing the last two European group games for Bordeaux, who stand last in Pool 2 with just six points and one victory from their four games to date.

Oyonnax prop Stanley Wright also copped a three-week ban for a dangerous tackle on Ulster's Chris Henry in last Sunday's 24-23 defeat to the Irish province.

He will be allowed to play again from February 1, but will miss already-eliminated Oyonnax's last two European Champions Cup pool matches.
