The Ivorian attacker scored his first goal of the season in the 5-0 demolition of Genk in the Champions League on Wednesday, but shared his joy with the two-goal Spaniard.Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou is delighted to see Fernando Torres hitting top form after the Spaniard scored twice in a 5-0 demolition of Genk on Wednesday night. The Ivorian also scored his own first goal of the season having come off the bench for Andre Villas-Boas’ men in the Champions League Group E match, but was particularly happy to see the under-fire £50 million man excel.“It\'s good to have Fernando at his top level and, again, you need that if you are going to go a long way in the competition,” Kalou told the club’s official website.“He\'s a great player and sometimes you just have to give them time to get their fitness back and return to their best form.”Of his own showing, the 26-year-old said: “\'It\'s always good to come in and score, it gives you confidence and I am pleased with that performance.“\'It\'s difficult to come in, hopefully when I came in we kept pushing and we scored the fifth goal so I\'m pleased with that.”Kalou went on to reject suggestions that Genk were the worst team Chelsea have hosted in the Champions League, instead praising the Blues’ performance.“You can\'t take away from the great performance of Chelsea,” the striker insisted.“We scored early and played very well so I can\'t say we played the worst team today. Chelsea played good football.\"\'We scored early, and against a small team that\'s important because that means you get more space to create chances.“We have a good squad and if you want to do well in the Champions League you have to have a good bench. Some players were left out tonight but we were still able to put in a good performance.”Chelsea now top Group E, one point ahead of Bayer Leverkusen.
