Former Liverpool and Leeds forward Harry Kewell has been named Australia\'s best ever player at an awards ceremony in Sydney. The 33-year-old was handed the honour after a public vote of 15,000 fans and panel of current and former players, administrators and commentators determined the winner. Kewell, who recently cut short his Melbourne Victory contract to return to the United Kingdom for family reasons, described the award as a \"massive honour.\" Everton midfielder Tim Cahill and Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer were included in an all-time best XI that also included former Premier League players Mark Viduka, Lucas Neill and Craig Moore.
