The opening week of the inaugural Al Qantra Twenty20 Cup division-two tournament saw three centuries scored and a fine all-round performance by Naveed Khan helped Bin Ham Travels defeat Zayed Cricket Academy. Bin Ham were struggling at 64 for six when Naveed came to their rescue. He smashed 74 and shared a 96-run partnership with Imran Saeed (51 not out) to score a challenging 185 for eight and he then took three for 22 from his four overs to restrict the young opposition to 147 for seven. Imran Ali led the century-makers as he slammed 126 not out to lead Adgas to a 65-run win over Blue Rays. The opener\'s score was studded with 16 fours and half-a-dozen sixes. Shahram Butt stroked 107 for Adma-Opco to post 233 for three and Rana Sheer then grabbed five for 19 from his four overs to complete a 106-run victory over Daman Insurance. Sandeep Menon hit 103 and shared a 156-run opening-wicket stand with Vinayak Kumar (38) to set the foundation for Jotun Paints\' 133-run triumph over Winning XI. Menon\'s knock contained 13 hits to the fence and five over it. Hafeez Siddiqui (53 not out) and Habib-ur-Rahman (58) hit breezy half-centuries for Jotun Paints to post 275 for three. From gulfnews
