WBA champ Aleksandr Povetkin of Russia is no match for the Klitschko brothers, Roger Bloodworth, the coach of Polish heavyweight, Tomasz Adamek, believes. “Alexander Povetkin is not the champion; the Klitschkos are,”Bloodworth is cited by Boxingscene.com as saying. “Povetkin is a ‘regular’ champion. I don’t even know what that means.” Bloodworth’s charge Adamek (44-2, 28 ??) returns to the ring on March 24 as he takes on Nagy Aguilera of the Dominican Republic at the Aviator Arena in Brooklyn. According to the coach, the Pole is not interested in Povetkin’s belt, with his only desire being another fight against one the Klitschkos. In September last year Adamek, failed his chance against WBC title holder, Vitaly Klitschko, losing by TKO in front of 42,000 home fans at the Miejski Stadium in Wroclaw, Poland. As for Aleksandr Povetkin (24-0, 16 ??), he put his hands on the WBA regular champion’s belt after beating Uzbek Ruslan Chagaev with a unanimous decision by the judges in August 2011. The title became vacant as Wladimir Klitschko of Ukraine was named WBA Super Champion.
