Inter boss Claudio Ranieri is looking forward to facing Marseille counterpart Didier Deschamps in the Champions League. The two teams will play each other in the last 16 of the competition after the draw for the next round of the competition was made earlier today.“It’ll be a nice challenge with Deschamps,” the Italian told Mediaset. “He’s already knocked me out of the competition once before when I was at Chelsea and he was in charge of Monaco.“I hope it goes better this time around…”Ranieri, who actually succeeded Deschamps on the Juventus bench in 2007 after their promotion from Serie B, is confident of progress.“I can’t say whether it was a positive draw or not, we’ll have to see how the games end up,” Ranieri added.“However, we can beat anyone. I just hope that we get to February with a squad in form and with my players in good physical shape.“The name of the opponent doesn’t really matter. I’ve already told my players that. We just have to think about ourselves and prepare for these games in the best way possible.”Inter were joined in today’s draw by Milan, who will play Arsenal, and a Napoli side who will be asked to dispose of Chelsea.
