Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko was on Saturday confirmed as head of the nation's football federation (RFS), two years ahead of Russia's hosting of the 2018 World Cup.
Mutko won a vote for a four-year term 266-142 against former national team coach Valery Gazzaev. He presided over the RFS 2005-2009 and returned in September 2015.
