Veteran Argentine and former Germany international could move to Gelsenkirchen side, who could lose Raul and Jefferson Farfan on Bosman transfers in the summer.Schalke have set their sights on Inter striker Diego Milito and Hannover all-rounder Jan Schlaudraff, according to various reports. With the futures of Raul, Jefferson Farfan, and Jose Manuel Jurado still uncertain, the 2010-11 Champions League semi-finalists are said to be looking for alternative options in attack. According to Tutomercatoweb, the Gelsenkirchen side have contacted Inter over the availability of the 32-year-old Milito, whose current contract is set to expire in 2014. Schalke have recently revealed they will sit down with Raul later in December or in January to negotiate terms of a new contract past the end of the current season. Should talks break down, Milito could be an alternative for the veteran forward. Schlaudraff\'s current deal at Hannover will expire at season\'s end, and according to Kicker, the 28-year-old is also on Schalke\'s wish list. As with Raul, S04 are expecting to have discussions with Farfan in the coming weeks. Even if the Peruvian does pen a new deal, Huub Stevens\' side may still be in the market for Schlaudraff, given criticism over the reportedly exit-bound Jurado. Schalke are currently fourth in the Bundesliga table, three points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
