Chinese super league side Shanghai Shenhua is still trying to sign Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, a top club official said here on Wednesday. Zhou Jun, a member of the club board, said that Shenhua has always been in contact with Drogba. "We will not give up our effort to invite him to join Shenhua," said Zhou. Zhou added that Drogba's former Chelsea team-mate Nicolas Anelka arrived at Shanghai early Wednesday morning but he refused to reveal when the French international will join the training camp and play his first match for Shenhua. "It's up to the head coach," Zhou said. Shenhua is now managed by Anelka's compatriot Jean Tigana, former Fulham and Monaco boss.
