The Swiss club’s chief has disclosed that he is keen to sign the Italian icon after his contract with the Turin giants expires at the end of the 2011-12 campaign.Sion president Christian Constantin has revealed that he will have a discussion with Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero in order to convince him to join the Swiss club next summer.Del Piero’s contract with Juve runs out at the end of the current season, and the Turin giants have already announced that they will not hand the 36-year-old a new deal.The former Italy international forward has not confirmed if he will hang up his boots following the conclusion of the 2011-12 campaign and has been linked with a move to Italian champions AC Milan.Swiss club Sion have now confirmed their interest in Del Piero, who joined Juventus from Padova in 1993, with their president going on to say that he will personally talk to the player.\"Del Piero is a player who I really like,\" Constantin told TMW. \"I was already updated on his situation last year.“Now, if Juventus no longer want him, I\'m really interested. I\'d love to bring him to Sion, I\'ll speak to the player and a solution is possible.\"I\'ll do everything possible to sign him. I prefer to not comment on the economical aspect of such a deal, though. I\'d prefer to just concentrate on the player.\"Del Piero has made six appearances for Antonio Conte’s side in Serie A so far this season, as Juve lie third in the league table with 13 points from seven matches, two points behind leaders Udinese.
