Lazeric Jones led UCLA with 15 points Wednesday and the Bruins ended the first half with a 9-0 run to advance in the Pac-12 tourney with a 55-40 win over USC. Oregon State also earned a quarterfinal berth with a 69-64 decision over Washington State and Stanford advanced with an 85-65 demolition of Arizona State. UCLA entered the tournament as the No. 5 seed and defeated a USC team that won just once in 18 conference games during the regular season. Travis Wear added 12 points for UCLA (19-13), which rallied from an eight-point deficit to take a one-point lead at halftime and then put together a 17-2 outburst during the second period. The Bruins will take on Arizona in the quarterfinals Thursday and UCLA\'s chances for that game improved when the Wildcats announced starting guard Josiah Turner would be suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules. USC\'s season ended at 6-26. Devon Collier paced Oregon State in its victory, one that set up a meeting with top seed Washington. The Beavers (18-13) also got 15 points from Joe Burton. Brock Motum scored 18 points for Washington State (15-16). Stanford (21-10) built a 20-point halftime lead and coasted past Arizona State with Chasson Randle scoring 30 points. Randle made 7-of-11 from the field and 10-of-12 from the line. The Cardinal will take on California in the quarterfinals.
