Mark Webber says he is expecting an interesting weekend on track in Bahrain this weekend as the Red Bull man seeks to finish on the podium for the first time in 2012. The Australian has finished fourth in each of the three races run so far this season and now heads to the Sakhir circuit eager to try and break onto the podium for the first time this season. Speaking ahead of the weekend, Webber said he expected the race to be an exciting affair given that it will be the first time that teams have used DRS and Pirelli tyres in the Gulf state. Both should have been used last year before the race was cancelled due to the political unrest which is currently threatening to overshadow the 2012 race. “We haven\'t been to the circuit for two years and the last time we raced on the current track layout was in 2009,” he said, referring to the fact that the 2010 race was on an extended version of the Sakhir circuit. “We also haven\'t been there with Pirelli tyres or the DRS, so it\'s going to be interesting to see how those new features go; the ingredients are all there for another exciting Grand Prix. “It\'s going to be important to understand the tyres quickly and you need good top speed and braking. It\'s a hot race, hotter than it was in Australia and Shanghai and more like the temperature in Malaysia. It would be nice to get a podium before we go back to Europe.”
