Three persons were killed and five others wounded in car accidents in Sohag.

Sohag Security Chief Ahmed Abu el Fotouh received a notification about three car accidents.

In the first accident, a taxi overturned when the vehicle's tyre went off leaving one person dead and four others injured.

A truck also overturned resulting in the death of its driver and wounding his assistant.

In Akhmim, a student was killed when a car, affiliated to the Drinking Water Company, hit him.

In the New Valley, a vehicle carrying 12 workers overturned leaving them injured.
