Three conscripts were killed and eight other policemen injured in a blast that targeted a security patrol in Arish, North Sinai, a security source told MENA on Wednesday.

The injured were carried to the Military Hospital in Arish, he added.

The scene of the blast is now being combed by bomb experts in search of other explosives, he said, noting that a manhunt operation is launched to arrest the perpetrators.
