At least five people have been killed in an explosion that struck outside Egypt’s Foreign Ministry in Cairo, police reported.
Security forces are currently searching the area. According to state TV reports, a police officer and a conscript were killed in the explosion, RT reported.
The situation in the country remains unstable after the military coup and the ousting of President Mohamed Mursi in July 2013.
