Five people were injured Sunday when a bomb exploded outside an outlet of a telecommunications company in Fayyoum governorate.

Sappers rushed to the scene to comb it.

The injured, including a woman, were carried to hospital for treatment.

The facade of the outlet was damaged as well as a nearby shop.

The public prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
