Eight suspects were arrested in a wide-scale security crackdown in the North Sinai on Saturday.
The campaign targeted the cities of Sheikh Zuwaid and Rafah.
Five terrorist hotbeds, three cars and six motorcycles without plates were destroyed, said security sources in the province.
A smuggling tunnel between the Gaza Strip and Egypt was also destroyed.
