A security campaign in the North Sinai cities of Al Arish, Sheikh Zuwaid and Rafah led to the arrest of eight suspects.

According to security sources, a number of hideouts and vehicles belonging to terrorist elements were destroyed and five bombs detonated in the campaign that took place over the past few hours.

No casualties or losses were reported in the operation.
