At least nine suspects were arrested during a security campaign in North Sinai, police sources said on Thursday.
The campaign targeted Sheikh Zuwaid and Rafah cities, the sources added.
Also, 12 terrorist hotbeds and nine motorcycles used by militants to attack security forces were destroyed.
