Matrouhh security forces, in coordination with border guards, thwarted an attempt by 30 persons to infiltrate into Libya illegally via Salloum, Matrouh security chief Hisham Lotfi said.

The infiltrators are all Egyptians from different governorates.

Security agencies took legal measures against the perpetrators, while the general prosecution was notified to open a probe.
