As part of the Armed Forces efforts to control the security situation on all strategic fronts, Egyptian border guards have managed to foil an attempt for smuggling explosives and drug tablets in a civilian vehicle.
The border guards seized a vehicle at Martyr Ahmed Hamdy district with 32 kilograms of explosive materials and amounts of money that were hidden in the vehicle's sides.
Also, the border guards seized a toyota-type vehicle in Boweiti district with 1.12 million of tramadol tablets.
The smuggled items were referred for special bodies to take all necessary measures.
